Sivakathikeyan is a Kollywood actor, producer, lyricist, singer and a stand-up comedian who works his heart and soul in Tamil industry. One of the young and energetic person in the industry. He started his life In television shows as a stand-up comedian, then started to host Vijay TV shows. After impressing audience as the smart and sweet guy in TV shows and small characters in short films, he was approached by director pandiyaraj sir to play the lead role in the film names marina. Oviya acted as the lover of siva. This film received a critic comments from the people. After the marina release , Siva got a side character role in '3' movie as a friend for actor Dhanush. Even the movie had its effects , Siva was noticed for his ground level comedy made in the film. With this shift he got another opportunity to act in the romantic comedy movie "Manam Kothi Paravai ". A decent comedy film but not to the level to impress the audience. Many started to back speak about Siva being an actor. Still sivakathikeyan fight all this odds and proved his potential.

In 2015 Sivakathikeyan once again paired with Ethir Neechal director for a action cop movie Kaaki Sattai, With different perspective and attitude Sivakarthikeyan given his best in the movie .
The important turning point of Sivakathikeyan is this movie, directed by debutant Bakkiyaraj Kannan and produced by RD. Raja. Where Siva is disguised a female nurse to get back his love and life. Such a immense comedy film , which became a box office hit for Siva.
