Nicki Minaj just revealed the cover art for her upcoming album Queen.

And it is definitely revealing!

Nicki took to Twitter captioning the cover art QUOTE, “My greatest work to date. Thank you for your patience & love. Pre-Order next week.”

What she is referring to when she says patience is the fact that this album is HIGHLY anticipated. It was originally supposed to be released June 15th, but now the album is set to drop on August 10th.

The artwork shows a gorgeous Nicki in front of a red background chilling casually on a tree branch. (Although her pose seems less than comfortable.) She is donned in Egyptian style jewels and beads on her head and neck. The same jewels were also made into underwear and pasties.

The picture was taken by fashion photographers Mert and Marcus who also shot Taylor Swift’s Reputation cover art.

Queen will be her fourth studio album since The Pinkprint in 2014, so it’s understandable why everyone is hype to hear her new stuff.

The album’s lead single Chun-Li recently slid into the Top 10 of the Hip Hop charts making it Nicki’s 30th song to do so. She is now officially the woman with the most top 10 hits just beating out Beyonce and Mary J Blige who both have 29.

And get excited because last week it was confirmed that Nicki will be performing at the BET Awards on June 24th AND she will be headlining Jay Z’s Made in America festival in September.
