Girl Denied Trophy Because She's A Girl

Emily Nash is a junior in high school. Because her school doesn’t have a female golf team, she has to play with the boy. In a recent tournament, Emily had the best score by 4 strokes. You might think that would make her the winner but you’d be wrong. While she is allowed to compete with the boy’s team, her individual score doesn’t count due to a really due rule that allows girls to play but not to win. She was given no advantage, she played from the same tees the boys did but that doesn’t seem to matter to the morons who decide these things.

The boy who was awarded the trophy for “winning” the tournament offered it to Nash which is classy of him but that never should have been an issue. She won. The award should have come from the tournament, not the kid who came in second.
