I am doing a large wave swipe pour again, I am loving this acrylic pouring, fluid art fun. There is something so satisfying about swiping and watching the cells pop up through the paint.

Acrylic pouring has been such an avenue for my mental heath and i am so glad that i can continue to share my journey through modern and contemporary and abstract art with you! I LOVE doing large canvas work and I am getting ready for my next show in October, so get ready for a lot of larger pieces! Fluid art is so relaxing for me and I love the outcome of this wave pour. Reminds me of being by the ocean.
I did use silicone to make the acrylic pouring cells you see here. I dont normally use silicone, but for these types of painting it really helps the cells pop up. Afterwards when finishing the painting, make sure you clean the silicone off prior to varnishing or resining.
Colors: pthalo blue, aqua, cerulean blue, paynes grey, cobalt metallic blue, white
White base: satin interior latex house paint and semi gloss house paint (70/30) (then mixed 50% paint, 30% floetrol, 10% gac800 10% gloss medium and varnish (one product) and water for consistency.
PM for the rest of my colors: floetrol, gloss medium and varnish (1 product), gac800 (50/20/20) ratio, Mixed in a 1pt paint, 2 parts PM plus water for consistency.
1-2 drops treadmill silicone for consistency
