Is it good to play a game that you have already played before?
It is very good if you are a new YouTuber to play a game that you have played before. It makes it easier to learn how to record a game, and it starts to get you used to recording. Beyond that, you will get used to a bunch of different aspects of recording if you pick the correct game.
